Boyatt Wood is a small residential area in the Northwest of Eastleigh, Hampshire named locally after the wooded area to the South of Boyatt Lane which connects the area to the village of Otterbourne.
The Itchen Navigation is a disused canal system that provided an important trading route from Winchester to Southampton, its waters are fed by the River Itchen, and it lies to the East of the Parish. The Itchen Navigation Heritage Trail is a popular walking trail.
Boyatt Wood became a civil parish in 2021 and the Parish Council of Boyatt Wood came into effect on 1 April 2022 consisting of three parish wards – Boyatt Wood East, South and West. The Council consists of ten councillors.
